I am going to London to live for the next 2 years or so so i am buying the Europe maps but when I load it to my Garmin will it override the maps that are already on there?
You should be able to connect your GPS to your computer through USB and save your current map before you install the new one. Actually, you can have both maps, but the memory left would be so little your GPS could give you problems (not enough memory to calculate directions, etc). The map is the only large file inside your GPS folders. Just treat it as any other file; cut and paste. You could even save it to the GPS's SD card and take it with you for easy access.
