Map: When you select this option, you will

map portion for existing and/or future journey/s and save it as
an image file. The 'Import Map' feature supports commonly available
image formats - *.JPG, *.JPEG, *.BMP, *.TIFF, *.GIF. After importing
the map, the canvas is automatically adjusted to fit the image
file.
Adjusting the map to fit the GPS scale: To locate the positions of the waypoints
on the map, right click on a specific point on the map and a pop-up
menu will appear. Select the 'Set First Point' option. The 'Select
Waypoint' window will then appear. Select a waypoint which matches
with that location from the pull-down menu and click 'OK'. Similarly,
locate the position of the second point by right clicking on another
point on the map and selecting the 'Set Second Point' option from
the pop-up menu. Then, select the appropriate waypoint from the
pull-down menu in the pop-up 'Select Waypoint' window. Once you
have set both points, you have to select the 'Calculate Corners'
option from the pop-up menu. This will automatically adjust the
map to the GPS scale. The plot is now aligned to the roads on
the map. The accuracy of this feature depends upon how accurately
users locate both waypoints, and the distance between the two
waypoints. To obtain best result, the two waypoints should be
at least one kilometer apart from each other both horizontally
and vertically. After importing a map, users can no longer zoom
in and zoom out the GPS plot.
