I know nothing about navigation, don't really need it I suppose. However, was reading that in some autos it is cheaper than others when the car is bought brand new. Just wondering if that is all you have to pay, or monthly or yearly fees after that. Thanks.

Skip built-in navigation altogether

its too expensive
Its not as current
Its tied to the car

get a $200 TomTom that is more accurate. better data, and can go from car to car - great if you travel and rent a car.

You will be WAY ahead
